According to a leak by popular Fortnite leaker HYPEX, players may soon have the opportunity to experience their favorite collaborations again in Fortnite. While the extent of the collaborations featured is still unknown, the leak specifies that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is currently the only supported collaboration. There is, however, a caveat. Creators using collab items will have to allocate a percentage of their revenue in Fortnite Creative to the respective IP owners. When asked about the number of collab weapons to be added, the leaker responded that items will likely not be available until agreements are finalized with the IP owners. This involves negotiating revenue percentages and possibly determining which items will be included in Fortnite Creative.

Fortnite players are already compiling wishlists of collaborations and items they hope to see in this upcoming feature. Unsurprisingly, the Marvel collaboration items are the most desired, with players eager to use the Stormbreaker or Iron Man's gauntlets again. If this becomes a reality, it will be interesting to see what restrictions are placed on creators, as mixing various collab items in a map could lead to complications with IP holders.
